Original match worn shirt from approx. 1924 to 193. Black-and-white striped cotton with laces and metal loops. Long sleeves- Size approx. 48. This shirt comes from the Frankfurt region and was worn about 1924-1930. The shirt might have been one of VfL Germania Frankfurt 1894 (Frankfurter Fußball-Club Germania as shown in the photo dated 1923) yet there's no proof. Germania Frankfurt players wore shirts like this. Germania Frankfurt is the hub of Frankfurt football. The omly thing the seller knows about the shirt is tht is comes directly from the estate of his late grandfather. It is an authentic period shirt. Unfortunately no one in the family knwos what team the grandfather had played for. The shirt does not have a number. Some minor fixtures in the seams, a tear in he sleeve which is a bout 1.5 cm long; some minore holes due to storage. Musty smell due to storage. In mint condition as far as ist age is concerned.
