On the occasion of the 30th anniversary of the 1974 World Cup victory, DFB received permission from FIFA to have a replica of the 1974 World Cup made by Bertoni for the players. This trophy was presented to the players at a ceremony in 2004, as the 1974 players hadnot received a copy of the World Cup. -- Comes directly from the collection of the Football World Champion 1974, European Football Champion 1972, German Champion with Werder Bremen 1965 Horst-Dieter Höttges (66 DFB Football A international matches). The Höttges collection was auctioned in December 2022. The consignor acquired these pieces in this auction and iss forced to sell them for financial reasons.
