Large official participation badge on occasion of the 9th shooting event of all German shooting clubs. "IX. Deutsches Bundes - Jubiläumsschiessen Frankfurt a. M. Juli 1887" Silver plated brass, embossed, 5.6x5 cm. Very rare antique participation badge of the biggest sport event for shooters in the world. The first event took place in Frankfurt in 1962. It was continued in different towns. The "anniversary shooting" in 1887 marked the 25 anniversary of the event. Silver slghtly abraded, otherwise in mint condition.
