In 1921, Carpentier lost his fight for the world heavyweight championship against Jack Dempsey. Carpentier became a professional flyweight boxer at the age of 14 and was already extremely popular in 1910. He became European welterweight champion in 1911 at the age of 17!!! Signature in ink. --Receipt was purchased at “Schmolt” on December 6th, 1999.
