Philips participated in the Olympic Winter Games of 1932 and 1936 (was offered in 2020 by AGON-Sportsworld Auction). Mollie Phililips was the first woman ever to bear a flag at the Opening Ceremony at Olympic Games. This was not due to emancipation but to the fact that the British team of 1932 consisted of women only. All four women participated in figure skating events. 12 pages, paperback, 21 x13.5 cm.
